The Thunderbolts have a long history in Marvel comics dating back to 1997. Since then, the team has gone through many different iterations, having 75 different members along the way – some famous, like Red Hulk and Punisher – others more obscure, like the Headsman and Citizen V. And only in a recent miniseries did it even slightly resemble the team in the upcoming MCU movie.
